Famous musician revamps child custody agreement

Child custody matters may be the most difficult component in a divorce. For the most part, parents want to be with their children. Unfortunately, when going through a break-up, the parent-child bond can definitely be adversely impacted. The courts take issues related to child custody very seriously as the outcome of any custody decision can be significant.

Famous people and non-famous people alike may have the same types of issues when handling problems surrounding child custody. For instance, Nayvadius Cash, better known as the rapper Future, and his ex-significant other have revamped their child support and child custody agreement. The agreement reportedly settled the visitation rights for mother and father as well as outlining where their 11-year old son would spend certain holidays. The new settlement also increased the amount of money that the mother would receive in child support payments. Cash is the father of four children, the youngest of whom was born in May.

There are times where ex-couples can reach civilized agreements regarding child support. During those times, the courts are merely there to guide the process. However, more times than not, child custody battles are often heated and contentious and can last for an extended period of time. The courts role in contested cases differs as the court is tasked with determining what is in the best interest of the child and how to proceed based on that finding.

When issues surrounding child custody arise, parents may have many questions. Attorneys are available to help clear up many of these potential questions.
